BikeSolve is a company, established in 2018, initially as a motorbike rental company.
We play a significant role in the online grocery delivery market in South Africa due to our business relationships with established online delivery platforms. Our strength is in our network of drivers and our reach throughout South Africa.
Directors and Staff
The company has two directors, and a staff compliment, comprising of an Operations Manager, Administration Manager, despatch controllers, recruiters, and experienced and skilled workshop support staff. In addition, we have motorbike drivers on-call on a contract basis.
Premises
Our offices, in-house workshop, and parts business run out of our Randburg premises in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Online Deliveries
BikeSolve provides an infrastructure support for online delivery platforms, and plays a significant role in the online grocery delivery market in South Africa due to our business relationships with established online delivery platforms through a full compliment of motorbike and car professional drivers.
Driver Network
Given the nature of our business, we have access to a network of motorbike drivers, currently standing at 200* nationally, and growing rapidly. Our drivers are spread at 77* locations across South Africa.
This enables us to provide an effective, efficient, and experienced overall delivery service.
We provide a complete delivery support function, and are able to recruit drivers, which includes a complete vetting process of each driver. We are able to assist to manage drivers to ensure deliveries are made in the most expeditious manner to meet customer expectations, from both a safety and reliability perspective. Our drivers are fully acquainted with our company Delivery Safe Work Procedures and Protocols.
Bike Rental & Fleet Management Services
We offer motorbike rentals which provides a full-service offering to the lessee/driver. This service offering includes, but is not limited to full maintenance, service, repairs and roadside assistance, extending to clients beyond our lessees.
Given that the majority of lessees rent our bikes to deliver and carry perishable goods i.e., food, every effort is made to ensure that in the event of a breakdown or accident we are timeous, in order for the driver to still be in a position to execute his delivery. To this end, our BikeSolve staff are able to assist to secure the scene in the event of a breakdown or accident until the roadside assistance arrives and where possible, assist the driver who has rented a bike from BikeSolve in completing the delivery.
The bike rental is R650 per week. All parts and repairs in respect of the bike is the responsibility of BikeSolve. We service our bikes twice a month, and also supply temporary replacement bikes where necessary as best we can.
We also offer cars and bakkies where bikes do not meet the requirements of our clients.
We do provide this service to fleet management clients as well.
Full-service Motorbike Offering
This service offering includes, but is not limited to full maintenance, service, repairs and roadside assistance, and box fittings and branding, extending to clients beyond our lessees.
We sell bike parts, inclusive of tyres and batteries. We an authorised agent for Kenda tyres.
Bike Sales
We sell new and used bikes and are an authorised Bajaj dealer.
We also offer Cars and Bakkies where Bikes do not meet the Requirements of our Clients.
In the 7 years since we have been in business, our operation has established its niche in the online delivery space,
